saw this one just east of Columbia, SC. Lightly marked, I did not recognize symbol, here is a picture of what is there. Did not buy it, yet........ negotiating........
Got any bigger pics? Looks to be a milled Bulgarian although by the serial number it's tough to tell which model it is, any chance it could it be a rewelded reciever?
Didn't look at it that closely, had already bought 3 rifles, a pistol, and a pile of bayonets when I came across it. Might go back and see it, 2.5 hours away......
Could be coincidence although my Bulgarian SLP 100's both have serial numbers such as AB 1234 and that's all so I'm not not sure what guns used that type of serial numbering.
Several possibilities. Could be an engraved receiver., possibly a USA manufacture? Or a reweld. The Bulgarians dated their early production receivers into the 1960's for sure but dunno for how long. Later they used date codes vs actual year dates.
Might be worth another look or call the shop and see if they can send detailed photos etc.
