Bought this at last weeks Ottumwa Ia gun show. A 1933 SA marked 91/30. Has a Finn matching bolt, a D stamped barrel, the butt plate and magazine don't match. Still in it's Russian Tula stamped stock. The bore is nice and bright, no refurbished marks, small import stamp under the muzzle, no cleaning rod. Best part was $107.00 OTD, he also had a 1922 Russian 91/30 in the same condition for $85.00, but didn't have the funds for both at the time. Said he had several more Finn's at home, just that he didn't think anyone around here was into them, so he didn't bring them, this time. I'll try to get a better picture of the complete rifle tomorrow.

Congrats. That is an excellent early M91/30. When you have the funds I'd try to get the 1922 updated dragoon from him as well as some of his other Finn marked rifles.

I remember that the 1922 had a Izhevsk barrel with a small Tula hammer marked receiver. Thought that was neat, but had be make a choice between it and the Finn.
