Here is another one i found.



Lyudmila Pavlichenko was a Soviet sniper during World War II, credited with 309 kills. She became one of the 2000 Soviet female snipers, of whom only about 500 ultimately survived the war. As a sniper, she made her first two kills near Belyayevka, using a Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifle with a P.E. 4-power scope.

I posted the site down on the Military History board. There must be a couple thousand pics from 1941 through the fall of Berlin.

You can see the guy on the right just can't wait to put the bayonet on, especially with the sergeant's encouragement.

I saw the dude under the tree with the PU sniper rifle before....but the first one is very cool!!!!

Some men that pick up some mosins directly from a crate...mmh...I saw this just a couple of month ago.......

The one with the rifle shoots, the one without follows him. When the one with the rifle gets killed, the one following him picks up the rifle and shoots."
