The cat walked across the keyboard on my daughter's laptop and hit something. The image on the monitor is now about half the normal size, centered in on the screen. I'm about to go nuts and blind trying to figure it out.

The resolution setting is still the same.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Cass

Have you tried rebooting? After that, try ctrl F8 just for the sake of trying something. You can hit it again until you get the display back. I don't know if it will fix that screen size issue or not. I've never seen that happen before.

Maybe check or change the monitor in Display Settings. I'm on a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Vista. I looked at the keyboard and I don't see anything that sticks out as being a display button other than the ctrl F8.
