OT, but worth noting

I thought it was neat that Mrs. Parker was born in 1893 - roughly when Model 1891 production really picked up. She was married in 1913! She was widowed in 1939! She outlived both her sons (which must be hard to endure).

I just thought it was interesting.

Pretty cool! :D
Yes, very interesting.

Every month I look forward to my SUBVETs meetings because one of our members is a national treasure of nowledge and expirience. Jerry Bringle qualified in submarines in 1936, the year before my dad was born.

Jerry always has the most interesting stories and observations. He always makes me feel that he is letting me in on the biggest secret, even when he is just teasing me.
