BIG Thank you 😃(y)
Interesting. This is my copy of the OSS Weapon book. There are two of these most interesting books. Do I get a 2nd place prize?

I've never seen another copy other than mine. Never really searched around for them though.
The original manual was a copy of the "Mud Slow" project. This was a catalog of the devices in the OSS/CIA's inventory. Somehow a copy of the catalog was lost/stolen and released and was published. The catalog was first published in the book called the "Plumber's Kitchen" in 1975. Many of the items were obsolete and others still in the Agency's inventory.

One of my projects was to put together a new version of the manual with the newly introduced devices and the out-dated, obsolete items removed. When I retired in 2006, the new manual was still not completed. There was a lot of opposition to it because it would "give away the keys to the kingdom " if compromised.

There are several books on OSS weapons but many mix fact with fantasy. Melton is one of the worst because he mixes SOE stuff in that had nothing to do with the OSS. Many sources consider the sheet metal “Liberator” and the Sedgley glove pistol to be OSS but they were not. Part of Dr. Brunner’s motivation was to provide accurate info without all the breathless BS. He was in the OSS and was a careful researcher.
