Orbea y Cia was a large firearms firm operating in the Eibar region of Spain well before WWI. During WWI, they turned their production to the Ruby style 32 acp semi autos and 8mm Lebel revolvers in demand by the French military. After WWI they faced the same dilemma as all the firms in that region: change product to cater to commercial demands, or get out of the firearms industry. Orbea y Cia designed several models of compact 25 and 32 ACP pistols to cater to the commercial markets during the 1920s. By the end of the 1920s, world stock market crashes and rising political turmoil inside Spain slowed firearms sales, and many firms looked to other lines of endeavour - Orbea y Cia switched to bicycles, Beistegui Hermanos switched to typewriters, etc.

Your particular piece was likely produced in the early 1920s. It also appears the grips are made of pressed horn, and have shrunk with age.

The "Clement" (shown on website) was a pre-WWI product; the "Precision" (what you have)was a post WWI product. Lack of patent number and serial numbers is nothing unusual with these pistols. Based on the condition of the one you have, $75 to $100 value.

If you live in Missouri, there is no such thing as "registration". There used to be a pistol purchase permit requirement, but thankfully that was thrown out by the state legislature about a year ago. What rifles, shotguns and/or pistols you own are your own business, as long as they are legal firearms (i.e., not stolen) or not in the realm of Class III (fully automatic firearms, short barreled rifles/shotguns).
