Here is a photo from Finnish Maxim optical sight. Sight comes in two parts, Optics and pedestal. This one has been made by VTT (State Artillery Plant)

Can you tell what is wrong with this picture? Except that it is mine, not Tuco´s

Hello!

The sight w/pedestal is so high that the shooter has, in practice, be standing. He is an easy target for any enemy gunner.
Secondly the sight looks like that of the Kevytsinko 55S55.
The whole combination looks very loose.

Mestari

You have it correct! Optical part is really from a rocket launcher. It just happens to have the same mechanical interface as the original optics. The pedestal itself is original.

The truth is that this combination is too high. The original purpose for this was indirect firing.

The design is not very good. The sight combination is quite heavy and the mount is too weak for it.
