Yes , a lucky seller , but remember excellent near mint examples had been selling around $750 or more in recent years . So , not to much of a surprise to me . I did not recognize the handle of any of the bidders . If you factor in the handy size of the M38 , you open the bidding up to hunters as well as collectors . Guess I should have bought 10 of them when Century & SAMCO were selling them for $239 each . Did I ever mention the firearms are a great investment !!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my first Husqvarna pristine M38 about the first of June in 2012. At that time a pristine M38 was running
$600 to $700 easily on GB. Some asked even more. But I found a better one for far less.
