Yes but considering there were about 5 bidders with bids over $2000 I am less worried than if just one bidder had run it up.

Nope. Not pulling your leg at all. Its a real Break Free Product, much heavier ( thicker ) than regular Break Free. Its designed to be applied to firearms that are stored. I have used it and it works great.

Besides, fooling a moderator is bad for one's forum life.

Have a read here, Tim. This stuff is the real deal.

Live & learn, thanks Mike! I had just clicked on Midway USA's link when I googled Break-Free, never saw Break-Free's website listed. and figured if Midway didn't have it, nobody did. Wrong . . . .

Mods just take out the trash and scrub the terlets.

We don't have enough time to list all the stuff I don't know/haven't heard of.

I use a 1/2 inch camel hair artist brush to apply the oil on the outside metal bits, a wet patch through the bore, and supposedly you're good for 5 years. I haven't let any of my rifles go that long without a reapplication, but the stuff does last a long time.

I like it better than any of the greases available for long term storage, its easier to remove. They say you can shoot it out of the barrel without cleaning, but I haven't done that.

I can't remember where I bought it. If your interested PM me and I'll have a look. If you Google "Break Free Collector" you'll find some vendors.
