This is in great shape for an older Win 3030,paid 450.00,thought it was worth that,anyone know what year it was produced?Most of these older one are well used,this one was used but not abused.

Thanks eastbank and Mike!I am thinking its in about 90% cond and its 60 years old,dont have a blue book,what would be a value?Was thinking 500.00-600.00 for insurance purposes,sound about right?

that is post 64 pricing in these parts,

think more like 700+ in this area,

Thank you,this was bought in Mo. so it has probably killed a few deer in its life.Didnt know about it being pre 64 and worth that much,probably wont shoot it .Have a newer one with the crossbolt safety,will shoot that one and put the wear on it,probably safer anyway!

Fair price for a really nice little carbine. Bonus that the reciever is d/t for reciever sight and front sight hood is present and looks like the original sights are present and accounted for also. You did well.
So your saying that some of the 94s were factory d/t for the receivers sights?If it is not factory done I would think it would reduce the value of the gun by 20-30 percent.

I read they started factory tapping these for scope mount after 1952 so that puts this in the correct era.After looking at several others on line ,my take is this one is no doubt factory done.

they were not tapped for scopes, just for reciever sights that took two holes on the left rear side of the reciever, the side mounted scope mounts came later that used thoses two holes and a screw that replaced the bolt take down pin blocking screw. eastbank.
