I ran across an old round in the famous cigar box of odds and ends at a gun show, and for the life of me I cannot find my copy of Cartridges Of The World to figure out what it is. I figured one of you all might be able to help out.

Here are a couple photos in between a 45 Colt and a 44 Russian for comparison. Measurements:

OAL - 1.530"
Case length - 1.060"
Bullet dia. - .445
Neck dia. - .447
Base dia. - .447
Rim dia. - .480

No headstamp, definitely black powder. It's cracked so the bullet comes out and there's really old BP packed in there. I expect this will be an easy one for some of you guys. Thanks!

First thing that popped into my head was .41 Long Colt. I'll try to check the books tonight.
