Dangerous Art?
Drawing critical cartoons of Stalin back then was about the same as drawing cartoons poking fun at "Mohummet" nowadays.
The subjects of all this mirth usually didn't have all that much of a sense of humor about it.
If the KGB ever caught up with the Artist who drew those, I'll bet that he never drew another cartoon - and more likely than not was never seen or heard from thereafter!
