I recently obtained my third Russian TT-33 and this one is a little different. There are no import or rebuild markings. It has a matching magazine. The frame and slide blued over a sandblasted finish except for the polished flat sides of the side. Has anyone seen this type of finish on Russian TT-33's?

if you are asking is this original to 1942 the answer is no. never seen this type of finish but i am not familar with rebluing work. looks like, as you said, a pitted frame was sandblasted and reblued.

It seems it's all redone with the exception maybe of floor plate , trigger, and slide stop..
Regarding magazine, 1942 supposed to be prefixed with the two Russian letters, but it's not

+1 on the mag numbering being fake. The font is definitely not right.

It is surprising how much mischief you can do with a set of old battery punches.

Rusted pistol. Sandblasted and refinished. Possibly parkerized, but hard to tell from here.
