I question everybody. I'm a show me kind of guy.
And I get even more leary when I receive avidavits for me to sign turning over all my voting rights to the NRA. An uneasiness comes over me of how anyone could even ask that in America.

Gun show loophole....nonexistent, those are private sales. If the Dems wanted to make sure more gun show sales had background checks done they shouldn't have pressured thousands of licensed dealers to turn in their licenses during the Clinton years and then subsequently made dealer background checks mandatory. Sounds a lot like the gov't habit of parolling felons and then using the resulting spike in violence to call for more gun bans.
The expired assault weapons ban had nothing to do with real assault weapons which are automatic weapons. It delt almost exclusively with the appearance of a firearm and therefore in my opinion is an example of prejudice which is un-American.
Locking a gun up when children are around is always a good idea. Quite a few of the children shot around here I've noticed are the kids of LEOs and accidentally shoot themselves with Dad's service weapon. I doubt they'll be issued child proofed guns. If these firearms do come into being then the test will be, does the Secret Service use them, if not, why not? If they aren't good enough for the President's protection they aren't good enough for regular citizens to rely on them for their protection.

Illegal "arsenal" to be defined as 200 primers by Feds
A few Sundays ago I watched Hussein announce a cabinet secretary and the second press conference question explained skyrocketing sales of firearms and ammo and asked if his statements about not taking away citizens' guns were true. His careful lie of an answer that so many dimwits like those, yes, anti-Americans here happily nod and smile about, was that he believes in common sense guns laws that he'll enforce and we should all relax and take him at his word. Said another way, ban handguns as in Chicago, re-enact the asault weapons ban, tax ammo out of affordability, federally license all gun ownership, impose requirements that are almost impossible to be met, ban self-defense as a valid use of a firearm (they are deadly weapons and your life is not worth more than anyone else's, as in jolly old England whose violent gun-crime rate has gone up significantly since they were banned there), and appoint Chuck Schumer (who has repeatedly proposed banning private posession of an arsenal to be defined as 200 primers, whether in a cartridge or not) to the Supreme Court to defend local anti-gun legislation-from-the-bench and overturn Heller.
In Jamaica, the country and not Queens, New York, yet, possesion of a cartridge is prosecuted the same as posession of the illegal gun that fires it. Otherwise you wouldn't have the cartridge -- all perfect logic in a wholly disarmed populace. Your grandkids are on the way to live under this kind of regime. Like in Mumbai. That is why this is on the Ammo page, why so many posts in what appears to recently be the most-read forum are about where to get decent ammo without being robbed blind ASAP, and why probably every reader here has sured-up their inventory as convenient including those self-hating/sniveling useful idiots of you who are too dumb in my opinion to have had the right you exercised when you voted for Hussein...

Mikey , This is somehow good for America ?. Once the these socialist swine get their foot in the door it about takes a hatchet to get them out !. I just wanted to see the original webpage and not be redirected to an NRA article. What you quoted me on is from the original Obama webpage that Mike O had the brains to find. I thought someone else would like to read it.
I just wanted to read the original print and not have someone translate it for me. I can read between the lines on my own.
I do wonder though, as there are those people who make Obama into some sort of Godly Messiah I do think there are those who make him out to be Satan himself and I think this waiting for him to be inaugurated
is killing us to see what's going to befall us.
Now, the only good deals I see on ammo anymore is still Wal-Mart. The web seems to be dead after you get into shipping.

It isn't just the NRA. Tom Gresham and other gun rights people have dead links to that now non-existent Obama website material. I dunno why one of these guys didn't archive and host the truth on their own websites.
It reminds me of my search for sen. John Kerry' suppressed book with the soldier flying an upside down flag in protest just four years ago. I eventually found a bootleg PDF copy on the BearShare peer-to-peer file swapping service, despite attempts by the Democrats to cover it up.
