Ok since there is a severe lack of german rifles in my neck of the country, I figured a would put that fire out from the cash that was burning a hole in my pocket. I went down and picked up a Remington 700 Mountain rifle with a detachable magazine. Came with scope mounts. This will be a fine addition to my cabinet along side my 700 bdl dm in .280. Actually, the rifle is for my daughter who will be able to hunt(legally) in 3 years. But I figured the way the prices of new rifles are climbing so fast I may as well get this one. It is very possible that it was only shot a few times to get that scope sighted in. Satin walnut and blueing is the finish. A true beauty.

Will post pics later.

flat shooter, no felt recoil. great for deer, marginal for elk. the ladys do like em light. i feel they dont mind recoil as much as shootin a heavy/to long rifle. good choice. that or 7mm for the gals, unless they want more!
