Every gunboard on the net has links to obscene prices "evil rifles" have been going for since the election. At this point in time, it should not come as a shock, surprise, or even something uncommon.

if you want to shock the membership find a AK, AR that went for a good price recently

Heck if that's a stumbling point for some of these buyers for I'd just swap out the plastic handgaurds with wood, then put a US brake in place of the foreign one (assuming it is not already a US part).

These GB AK bids are truly just plain stupid now. I'm about ready to put up 4 of my 5 AK clones on GB just to see what happens. Then I can buy some guns I've really been wanting (C&R's).

What are the odd's of this seller getting paid? Might just be some kid or anti gun person screwing up the auction system...

I mean things are going high but just a quick search on Gunbroker and you can find twice the gun for less money. Trust me when I worked the shop when ever we had such high prices bidded up you can almost bet the buyer disappears... But it is fun to look. I think they are going for way more then they did a few months ago but this is insanely high

I know where there are Polish underfolders for 799! (I bought one, it's an Allied armament build, just beautiful).
He could have bought a Vector built RPD out of the same shop for 2700.
