No doubt done as advised. For the same reason McDonald's had to put "hot liquid" on the side of a coffee cup.No big deal, this can happens to the biggest and best sellers. All the time. I got a new card the same day I got the letter. The companies who write the software could probably do better. As for the Numrich letter, that was poorly written. They said way to much and scared the heck out of people. Two sentences would have been adequate. People dont know crap about this stuff. Like the Covid panic.
McDonald's had that one coming. She had a good case.No doubt done as advised. For the same reason McDonald's had to put "hot liquid" on the side of a coffee cup.

While I generally agree with your statement for me it has been a little more than a minor inconvenience. I’ve had my card stolen maybe 3 times, maybe more in my lifetime. Either I’ve caught it fast or the monitoring from my CC company catches it fast. A quick phone call and the card is cancelled and new one ordered but when you have your card linked to many places you either shop at or pay bills with now you have to take the time to go through a list of places that you will need to update with the new card or wind up being delinquent on a payment or something along those lines. When it’s just a card and not a whole identity it is irksome and fixable but maybe a little more than a minor inconvenience.Yes it's a minor inconvenience… take 3 minutes to order a new card.
