That F-16 has the cage over the intake that's used to keep it from eating maintenance people during ground engine runs. It also has the wingtip missile launchers and under wing pylons removed. I'd bet maintenance was doing a test run or towing it and it got away from them.

The 123 was coming into A341. III Corps on the Cambodian Border.
It was a semi hot strip.
He dumped and di-di'd

Here also is a crane slinging in a small dozer to work the strip.
Blade was removed for second trip.

Last is a Caribou struck by outgoing at Ha-Than.

No survivors.

I think there is a film clip of the Blue on blue of the Caribou. If so - it is horrifying (as is the still you posted). That was a really bad event. A 105 hit wasn't it?

Anything to help; here's an old model seaplane.:D
That makes nearly as much smoke as the last British Airways 747 in which I had the misfortune to travel. That thing was so knackered I swear the only thing keeping it up over LAX was the smog.
