I am going to look at an Enfield #4 that the serial number starts with a UF 55 the guy states that the gun looks just like new for $350. I don't have an enfield so I am wanting to know where this one was made and if it was made in 1955 and by whom.

It was produced at the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley, outside of Liverpool in 1955. If it's in the kind of shape the owner seem's to be describing, $350 is an excellent price.
