Picked this one up recently out of a very old collection. Wood seems to be of higher quality than later production T99s, which I suppose makes sense. Matching but no DC + a very nice sling. Welcome thoughts and opinions as this is the only one I’ve come across.

About as nice as anyone can ask for! I like the wide loop rear sling swivel on these early ones.

i have one with serial number 63972 , tho not as pretty as yours it is a good shooter.

That is a very fine looking rifle, someone loved that rifle and kept it in great condition over the last 82-ish years. Clean stock with crisp markings, a fine addition to any collection.

Every time I think I have enough Nogoyas I see one like this and I really need one. Really nice one especially with the pod.
