Well just have to show this. An 8 shot group just a hair over 2" @ 50 yrds shot with my reloads. No record but I thought pretty good for me while sitting at a bench with the rifle resting on my binocular case for support. The light loads were 28.5 of I-3031 w/ 140 gr jacketed bullet. This is the no-series, all matching, including dust cover, T-38 with the painted bayonet scabbard that I got a few months ago for $150, Ray

Good job. Was that a flat based bullet you were shooting? My 38 shoots Hornady 140 FBs very well, but scatters Sierra 140 MKs all over the target.

Ray,
good shooting. What was your aim point?

bxn65, They were the cheap repackaged 140 gr flat based bullets from Midway. I think they were $10.00 a 100. I don't know where Midway gets them from.

Don, it was the point of aim. It is the first Japanese rifle I have ever shot that was POA. Every other one I shot, always shot left of the point of aim. Ray
