I placed a bid on this hoping that it would stay within reason. Got too rich for my blood as I rather spend my funds in adding one I really need for my collection like a 5 date Chigusa or an original configuration Chigusa or Tokyo. But it is a really nice one and have to concur with Adogs, one of best refurished ones I've seen.

Just noticed that he didn't use his signature grey blanket in these photos

Not to split hairs, but he says it's original finish and deep blue, which really doesn't describe arsenal refinish and the the sort of grey blue that they have.
That's because he doesn't know the difference. He tends to just know the basics. Like all his 99's are listed with chrome bores for example.

I may have screwed up the gray blanket use. He bought a T-38 from me at the SOS and when he gave me his card and I when saw who it was I mentioned he was known in circles as the gray blanket. He laughed and said it was an old military blanket and he uses it as he heard that it was best to use a gray back ground. Sorry guys, now maybe you're going to have to call him the gray towel, LoL, Ray

you could always buy his "guaranteed original" reproduction muzzle cover on ebay. looks like it was made yesterday....because it probably was!
My thoughts exactly when I looked at it. You'd think he would at least rub it around in the dirt and scratch it up a bit.....

Laugh all you want.He put $1,075 in his pocket on that gun.You have to admit,he's a money magnet like him or not.;)
Actually, I'm surprised that T-26 didn't go for more $$.
ya just don't find a really nice T-26 every day, regardless of who's selling it

If it was original production finish, then it shoulda gone a bit more, but with an arsenal re-bluing, that price is a bit on the high end.
Really? I haven't seen an arsenal refinish this nice in some time. I will defer to our Jedi master who, somehow, seems to make it to every gun show there is ;) You've seen more of these than I have for sure.

I was looking through his stuff and I noticed one guy "italianbroker" bidding on all kinds of stuff. Seems like he only wins auctions by sreisel, as 99% of his feedback was from him. Most of the items he won are too old to view, but two of them he won and received positive feedback from sreisel, and then the item was re-listed. 266804658 & 271293897 and 261471277 & 269185970. I'd be interested if anyone else has noticed bidders that are a bit too frequent.
