Hey guys I recently acquired a Remington 1903a3. I have a couple questions on some of the markings. If someone could appraise this for me, that would also be great! Thanks

I would love to know the year of manufacture, how much its worth, and also is it possible to find out the history of this particular rifle?

Here are some pics. I'm particularly curious on what the characters on the right side of the receiver are.

Rifle is a 1980s import from China or Taiwan. Parts gun. $600.

The receiver dates to Feb. or March, 1943 and the barrel is correct/original. The stock is a replacement.

Is that bolt tweaked?

Sorry, let me be more specific. In the picture that looks straight down on the bolt, the bolt handle looks swept back rather more than looks normal to me. I wondered if the bolt handle had been tweaked in a vise at some point in its life.

Bolt looks fine to me. Number 77 has been stamped on top flat, but all looks correct to me.
