Got my Model 1924 in today. All matching except the bolt. Sadly, no cartouche on the stock.
That's disappointing, but I can live with it.

Looks like the handguard may be a replacement. Is the 24/47 handguard the same as these? I thought I might look out for a better color match.

Yep, handguard is the same.
Any pics of the rifle?

Thanks Nug. I should have a few pics up this evening.

I wiped a little mineral spirits on the handguard - I think it matches fine afterall, was just grimey and dark.

If it's just dirty, I have found creamy Gojo a good stock cleaner. Will lift all that old grime of the ages and not tuch the finish one little bit.

some quick pics: Model 1924

Got this rig for less than $150. Biggest downside is that the bore is pretty worn. Hopefully, she'll still shoot straight!
