I finally got a good one.

I need to find out when it was made.

The serial number is 41052X

It has an E.T. on it and several very small stamped markings. A shield and crown with asterisk
above it, a Y with an asterisk above it, and two ordinance bombs, one with a P inside and a G on the other.

What does it all mean?

The "E.T." with number following it is the Spanish Army inventory number - your actual serial number is on the butt of the gun.

The "Y" with asterik over it is the year proof code = 1953

The shield proof is the Eibar proof house test proof, as well as the Bomb with "P" - indicating internal release to Spanish service. A bomb with "I" would be an export piece.
