So far 306 rasheeds have been accounted for:
37 from 1966 ser no 1420-2125
72 from 1967 ser no 2174-3586
197 from 1968 ser no 3636-8391
looks like 1966 are tough ones to find, please send any new info to me thanks
Ol Duke, no idea on butt plate marks, none of mine have one. also yours is the one with the ser no etched backwards, correct. two ser no next to yours also are backwards
I'll have to check about the etched number, but, I think you are correct as the etched number didn't match the stamped number. I didn't think to reverse it, though....

Kennedy, you're right, they are etched backwards, but, they mistook the stamped Egyptian number 3 for the number 2. They are close and without a magnifying glass, you can't tell the difference. They have 2627 etched below it, while the actual stamped number is 7363.
Bought my Rashid (Rasheed) S/N 4959 at a gun show back in 1988. Paid 200 bucks for it then. Needs new springs and firing pin. Will post that problem separately unless you know where or who might be able to help? Thanks.
