54R

It will sell. I won't buy any at that price, but guarantee it'll sell. Ammo keeps spiraling up. It costs this much in the early nineties, and then the price went on average to 10c a round. Now it seems like 20c for 54R surplus will be the average, (I hope). Reloading is also gone up quite a bit, unfortunately.

I am in good shape, so it does not effect me. If I was shooting non NFA weapons, then ammo that costs $4 per box of 20 when comparing to commercial ammo is still a good buy in my book. I would go a head and buy for what I want to shoot for a couple of years. If prices go back down, then I would make a big buy. If prices double again, then you are protected for a while. If we see 30 to 40 cent surplus, then I may have to sell my Maxim and all the ammo. Hopefully neither will happen.
Just another opinion.

wow... people will now start hording 7.62x54 ammo like 8mm and .308.
I bought around 30 case on the hunch they were going to put the screws to the last good priced ammo. I hate to say I was right but:eek::eek:
