Been wanting a FR8 for years. Should have bought when they were inexpensive! But paid the current crazy price. 1953 dated.
Couple questions, do these normally come without a rear action screw bushing? Wasn’t one on the rifle, fabricated one out of a dry wall anchor. And has anyone made a front sight adjustment tool from scratch? Or have one to sell?

I have an fr-8. Bought the sight tool from sarco. Making one out of a cap n ball revolver nipple wrench might work but the tool from sarco is cheap and easy to use.
I shoot cast bullets in mine and it is quite accurate. Neat little rifle.

Sarco did get the tools in stock. Mine could have been adjusted with a nail, turned freely. Real happy with accuracy.
