New to me anyway. Tried 3 types of fmj ammo and None of them fed. Actual bullet would be 1/3 way in chamber and the rest would be hanging down. They did not even come close to feeding.
Noticed absolutely no numbers or letters on either of the 2 15round mags. Is this right or did I buy a gun that some guy put in after market mags that did not work for him either.
Also, all the numbers match on the gun but it does say just 9mm Luger on the side of gun. I assume this means 9x19 parabellum and not 9x18 mak.
Am stuck here and do not feel like putting a whole lot of money in a gun I just paid 395.00 for.
Did not even get a shot off.Bud

checked for case remnant. Nothing there. Will order a recoil spring tomorrow.
Looking at the schematic That came in the directions for the gun is there some sort of spring inside the recoil spring. I have the metal guide thing but the schematic says recoil spring and a smaller spring inside called a spring slide stop. Any one know about this or do you all just have the recoil springs. Thanks again guys

Do you have an after market mag? It sounds like it maybe just a spring. I would go with a stronger recoil spring thats what i did on my cz85db. I wanted to lessen the recoil.

All 5 of my cz's have been flawless and awesome shooters too.

If your using a moly or a grease to lube the frame rails you may also have too much on it too. Too much grease can add more force and drag to the movement. Just a little lube will do.

Though not likely to be the ultimate CZ fan I am right up there. I have the following CZs...75B, 75D PCR, 2075 RAMI, 75 Tactical Sport. All work flawlessly. I keep the clean, well lubed, change recoil springs every 3k-5k rounds. They digest any type of 9mm ammo I feed them. I suspect you may have a magazine problem if the recoil spring did not remedy your feeding problems. Oh, I forget...hehe...to mention the perfect service from the CZ 70, the 2 CZ 82s, the 3 CZ 52s, the CZ 452 Lux, the CZ 452 Scout, and the CZ 550 FS in 6.5X55. But I have to admit, I am biased! Merry Christmas all.

It sounds like the problem is wrong/bad magazines to me.

BTW: to anyone that owns a CZ-75, be careful about loading rounds singly into the chamber instead of from the magazine.

The extractor is not beveled to snap over the rim of a round placed into the chamber manually, it is made to engage the rim of a round coming up from the magazine. If you put rounds in the chamber and then release the slide, you may eventually break the extractor.

sounds like cheep after market mags.weak springs

I'd also say it's most likely the magazines. IIRC, there are minor differences between those for the original 75 and the 'B' models which can make them incompatibile. There's a "sticky" over at the CZ Forum on the subject of magazines that might help you sort it out.
