I picked up this Type 2 Paratrooper at the Antique Military show in Raliegh this past weekend.
It's matched throughout with SN# on the bayo lug, bolt, safety, FP and extractor. The assem. #s on the two halves of the piece match as well. It does have the mum grounded and is missing the DC, but otherwise it's in great shape. I never thought I would luck into a rifle like this, but go figure, it happen. There's another little item in one of the pics I also pick up,..but perhaps that's a subject for another forum?

What Chip said. You brought it up, so might as well spill on the Luger while your at it. The Japanese used some of those too.

I just recently started selling off my old pickelhaube collection...so what you see is a combination of trading & cash... pickelhaube + cash = T-2, 2 pickelhauben = lugar, which is a 1937 fully matched w/ matched mag.
