I inherited a MAS-49, late production Syrian contract rifle (SN# 387XX). Based on what I have seen over the years, this appears to be a "typical" example, perhaps rates as an honest good+ overall. Total mix-master; though the numbers are "close" (within a couple of hundred digits each), every single number is different from its' neighbor. On the plus side, the bore is VG+, and has been counter-bored. Bayonet and sling are present. I know the value of 49/56's has increased steadily. and these are "rarer", but the condition is a big, offsetting minus. What should I charge ? I intend to sell on this site if possible. $500, - $600. ?? Thanks for any and all help !

I'm sure they would, but I'm an old dude, and taking and sending photos is easy, posting, beyond my capabilities. Assume you are talking to your grandfather here.
