I emailed my state senator and rep and told them not "NO", but, "HELL NO"....and that they should oppose at every opportunity. It's BS..

Well, the wheels are turning fast. I just received an email from my state rep explaining that TDOS is issuing retraction letters to the instructors regarding the need for s/n's....no big deal there as most classes require first time students to use the firearms provided by the class. Only the type/make and caliber are listed on the roster sheets required for turn-in. These are for audit purposes against actual certificate issues to track down counterfeits. Looks like a big "WHOA"....OOPs on the part of TDOS.. and got caught with their pants down around their ankles....
