I have a Finnish M91 that I purchased recently and for some reason in the first millimeters of pulling the trigger the bolt moves about 1/8 of an inch up... Is this something that is common with Nagants? I have shot this rifle and didn't have any problems, but I was just wondering if it is something that could be fixed.

If this is what you have, very few people can answer your question. The Nagant rifle is extremely rare.

I know what you meant, man, I was just teasing you! :)

But isn't the Nagant design interesting? Note - this is not the design, which was competing with Mosin's design that lead to the 1891 three-line rifle. Here is the other one:

Yeah it's very interesting. Looks a lot more complicated compared to the mosin nagant design.

so you could have a sniper Nagant?? Hmmm but the sniper pistol makes a better pic :)
