Just finished my second build, this one went pretty good and its another GM barrel, Mckray receiver and Rguns kit, this one I put a few coats of Duplicolor semi gloss on it and baked it in the oven at 200 for a hour but I screwed up because I am thinking it is the Satin Black that matches the Bulgarian black so I had to give it a once over with steel wool to knock the sheen off. I am not happy with the black because its very brittle and chips easily so I am thinking about stripping it and using gunkote. All it all I think it turned out pretty good and the next one should be a lot easier..

Get it cerakoted IMO. If you going to spend all that money on home-build gun you don't wanna cheap out on the receiver finish that will make the gun look like poops.

Yes but I don't have any experience with any others but I would say it is a good quality receiver..

I like the color (mag/stock)... looks like some of the 74's I saw Ukranian troops carrying today on the telly.
