Thank you, i have high hopes Buckstopper, I've heard so many good reports on Swiss and Swedish rifles.

I sure was pleased with Military Gun Supply FIVESHOT and wrench, they were on sale online (beech stocked only) for $199, i went for the $10 hand pick option and called them the next day offering them $10 more for a good bore AND good wood...they assured me of both and turned down my offer of another $10....good people.

Now to get out and post ah range report!

A really nice rifle French. Mine is about 3000 units earlier than yours and shows more use but, the bore is perfect. I was at the range yesterday with mine and I still can't believe how well I can shoot it without being able to see the sights clearly! :)

Good looking K31, French! I have 5 dated from 1941 to 1954 and love them all. I have never seen one that had a poor bore. Enjoy!
