I am very happy with the condition of this gun the trigger is GREAT !!! I have heard the trigger was wide but mine is fairly narrow. The trigger is a 2 stage and the second stage is very crisp , I took a fine piece of sandpaper and smoothed out the furniture nicely . it also had 2 mags and all acc. however the day I went to pick it up the gun shop gave away the mag pouch to the guy that bought the other one  !!! So I got screwed out of the mag pouch . If they get another PSL in I am going to remind them they owe me one .

Yeah, my friends with DPMS 7.62's are jealous of my PSL's "speed-bump" trigger. It just makes it so much the better, eh? Glad you're happy with it. I love mine.

This was shot with 46gr of H4895 and 150gr pro hunter in 303.
I am now worked up to 49gr to get a higher velocity Deer load.
Nice rifle and good shooting. I have been working with H4895 and found that with the Hornady .303 Brit 150 grain SP I could squeeze the five shot groups down to 1.5 inches. What brass and dies are you using? I was real tempted to use the PSL for deer this year as I am convinced it would work great but didnt want to scare the locals!
You might have lost more than the mag pouch as the one that came with my rifle had a spare firing pin, cleaning kit and rod in the cover flap.

the only brass I found was a box of reloadable Hotshot ammo I pulled and reloaded and Lee dies were All I found . Does anyone crimp this round ? As far as the fireing pin I didn't get an extra but I did get 2 scope coats . and some other stuff (pic later)

And yes my wife hates me too ! :D

Mine has as good a trigger as yours, a nice two-stage trigger. I have no reason to replace it.

I crimp for sure as its an autoloader and bullets can shift seating depth while being stripped from the mag and chambered. I have just used the crimping groove on the Hornady bullets. I am using Lee dies as well. If you are using the standard expander ball assembly that came with the die set you are setting the case neck at .308". I found that this causes some spread in the groups as the bullet I am using is .312" and deforms the case necks when seated. I ordered an expander assembley for the .303 Britsh and installed it in my 7.62x54R die and now get the proper case neck dimention when resizing. It cut my two inch groups to one and a half inch. Not very expinsive and you can get it direct from Lee. I have the ordering information if you need it. I have some new loads to test using Varget powder when I can get to the range. Who would of guessed that one of my favorite rifles to play with shooting both milsurp and hand loads would be this commie AK platform auto loader. It never fails to draw attention at the range with comments that cover about all opinions one could hear about a firearm. I love it.

Nice rifle and good shooting HI SALENITY!!

You think the trigger is nice now, try putting an adjustable Red Star trigger in there: http://www.redstararms.com/ I got mine breaking at a crisp 3.0 lb and just a pinch of overtravel.

Nice PSL. I really need to go out and shoot mine some time.

I just kind of lost interest in mine after CAI confiscated my RPK reciver reweld version and sent me a crappy replacement PSL with canted GB and FSB.

So yours shot 2" at 100yds? that's damn good for a PSL.
Best I could do with mine is 4 inch group at 100 but then again I only took it out two times since I got my replacement.

BTW, a lot of stores do that. They take the spares and accesories that come with guns and sell them separately for more money. Yes it's their perogative but it's still a crappy thing to do IMHO. Buyer beware.

Not saying that they did that to you mind you.

I've had a PSL for about 3 years now.... I love it

The first mod I did was the Red Star Trigger. I concur, it's a MUST have compared to the stock Trigger.

I also upgraded to an 8x42 POSP Scope vs, the stock 4x24. Made a big difference. I also swapped out the Flash hider for a M16 Birdcage style, (with AK threads). The Stock Flash hider was BENT!!! Made the rifle shoot 15 FEET high at 300 meters ROFL!

I've yet to shoot reloads in mine, but it'll shoot 1.5" @ 100yds with Czech LPS, Polish LPS, and Bulgarian LPS.. All day long....

The much vaunted Wolf 148 GR FMJ shot maybe 2.5", the Russian 7N1...about the same. Every rifle is an individual where ammo is concerned for sure!!

I have a question about the Bipod in the pic. How is it mounted?

I've asked this before, but never gotten a response: Does that Red Star trigger group have a "Speed Bump" to it? Does it have that lock and catch right before release? That's my favorite aspect of the standard trigger in the PSL's. I'd hate to lose that feature.

Drilled one hole in bottom of receiver to attach bipod mount.

Not sure what you're talking about, but the trigger is adjustable and can be tweaked from two stage to single stage. It does work on the same premise as the original AK trigger. It has two hooks before release. Take a look at it on their website.

What we've been calling a "Speed Bump" trigger is the way that the PSL trigger has like a detent notch feel to it, right before it breaks. It makes it faster as far as acquiring multiple targets. We do tend to get a little bit crazy at our ranges. Multiple targets and so forth.
