Bought this 1894 Cossack today. Hasn't arrived but here are a few pictures. It has the sight upgrades, crossbolt, type 2 HG and escutcheons - in addition to what appear to be Austrian sling modifications. I have not seen the bolt but it is a real war horse - and maybe even rode on a war horse! Wonder how it got here.I see no Finn traits of any kind (did I miss anything that says Finn?). Supposedly no import marks. Pictures from the seller.

I emailed rock island asking questions about the 1894 Cossack in that auction and this was the response

"In regards to your question about Lot # 554 Item D, the Mosin does not have any SA or D marks on the barrel or SA D or Ka3 markings as it is an original, unrebuilt. If you have any additional questions do not hesitate to contact me at
Thank you for your support of Rock Island Company and have a great day.
Sincerely,
Heather"

If this is the one that ended up at $2750 then yes the M44 is a finn capture.
If anyone can post a link to this piece I would greatly appreciate seeing it. Thanks!
