Hello all
i bought this t99 for $60.00 dollars it's pretty rough,and i don't know anything about it.so here's some photo's ,what do you think?unpinged mum!missing a few screws,unfinished,sanded stock.someone wiredwheeled all the metal.should i reblue the metal,or just leave it like it is? need some helpful information. thanks guys.

Definitely leave the metal alone. very nice example. Welcome to collecting japanese rifles. We are a very helpful bunch around here. Looks to be a 24th series made at the Kokura arsenal. The bolt doesnt match, but 60 dollars is a good deal.

I think I would just leave it alone. Too bad someone had to go nuts with removing the finish.

Nice! Ive got $190 wrapped up into my T99, that was a sporter, but I brought it back with a new stock! $60 is great for that IMO.
