Well here she is. Little roughed up but whats not to love!

Got two problems tho already. One. Ordered a LPS TIP2 scope from J&G. How in the world do you get it to slide on? The bottom rail on the scope always hits the bottom rail on the PSL. It looks like it may not be wide enough for it.

Any remedies?

Wish I could be more helpful but this is my first "REAL" rifle project. I hope to take her to the range tomorrow and see what shes got!

Problem now is when I look through my scope the reticle is slightly at an angle.
More common issue than people state. There's info in this thread how to access the reticle and align it: http://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28770. I need to do that on my PSO-1 as well, but at another date, I'm putting a TWS top rail on it and getting a modern scope.

But since you ordered it from J&G, maybe return for replacement before resorting to the teardown.

Had the same issue with mine. Thought it was the rail. Turned out to be the scopes inner workings the screws that hold the reticles glass in place for adjustment were off. Had to take it apart and reset it. It worked great but I just upgraded to a bigger 8x42 from Kalinka.

Besure its not the rail before attempting that fix. It took about 20 minutes worth of work to get it right.
