Which sight do you have on the rifle I believe there where two varients..........Try different ammo and you might even get better results.

Most of them had Mossberg S-100 rear sights with a smaller percentage with Lyman 57MS.
I've found my US trainers, for the most part, like different ammo. My 44 US does better with Federal Match and hates other ammo while my Springfield M1922 only likes Eley match. My stable of trainers are my favorite rifles to shoot. Get some more you'll love them.
