When I first started collecting Mosins, I wanted one of each model including as many models as practical of non-Russian Mosins. Among the non-Russians, I picked up a Chinese T53, Hungarian M44, and as for Finns, a M39 and then a M27.

After a while, I decided to focus mainly on M91s, so I picked up a Finn M91. Since my interest has grown in M91’s I have sold my Chinese and Hungarian carbines to concentrate on Russian guns. But I have ended up with even more Finns, even though I’m not sure if I will keep all of them - especially my duplicate arsenal/years. Sometimes, you just can’t pass up a great deal.

Here they are:

1944 Tikka M91/30, SA marked with stacked front sight, 38 Tula receiver, wartime spliced Finn stock

1940 Tikka M91 in 1910 stock, SA marked, 1895 Chatellerault receiver.

1940 Tikka M91 in 1906 stock, SA marked, Finn wartime splice, 1933 Izhevsk receiver.

1943 SAKO M39, SA marked, Finn wartime splice, 1897 Tula receiver.

1943 SAKO M39, Finn wartime splice, Tiger striped, 1905 Tula receiver.

1927 Tikka M27, SA and D marked, early winged bolt, early nosecap, ski swivels, oval sling slot plugs, 1919 Izhevsk receiver.

1934 Tikka M27, SA and D marked, standard bolt, late nosecap, ski swivels, remains of wood crossbolt, rectangular sling slot plugs, Finn wartime splice 1916 Tula receiver.

Very nice, I like the M27's most and wouldn't mind more pic.s of your 1927 :) .

The tiger striped M39 stock is a beauty!

Sweet group, thanks for sharing your "Finn's".

Very nice. Maybe your M27 needs a new home with mine? Think of me if you ever decide to sell that one! With spring coming fast and furious in the mid west, sure would like to capitalize on it and take some pics outside of my own. Cheers, John.
