I acquired this gun from my local dealer a year ago. He did not know what it was. Took it all apart and cleaned it. I shot about 50 rounds of Persian ammo and 25 rounds of Yugo ammo through it. Had to play with the gas adjustment but I got it working just fine. I have been looking for an Egyptian bayonet for it and I finally found one
So it is all Egyptian. It is not a number matching gun except for the barrel and receiver. I did however replace the disc in the stock with one from an Enfield just to get it close. It sure beats having the steel washer in there.
