on the butt as the prongs are going to mar up the wood in short order if

The scope is a 1.5-5x Burris Safari with the original British sniper reticle....the Post and Rail. Not too many post and rail reticles out there in scopes the average guy can afford.

That's a "Purdy" stock; why would you want to hid it?
