I think it's a good solid one. My first Steyr. Even the wood matches internally, as well as the firing pin. I was reluctant to take her apart to confirm this, but glad I did. Were all Steyr k98 stocks only serialed internally? Thanks for looking.

Nice honest bnz Josef. That safety has been on there awhile. That's a part that would break. Steyr, like the other makers, numbered their stocks externally until early 1942. Thanks for posting it.
