Murata Type-22 rear sight
Just picked up Murata Type-22 sporterized to shoot some type of shot shell. The barrel has been bored smooth to about 10.26mm. I'll try and figure out what cartridge.
The rear site is graduated to 2500 and the "V" notches are offset to the left. The 600-200 yard graduations look to have been milled down and renumbered to (6,5,4,3,2,) on the left side. Were the Type-22s sights ever modified like this? Did this come from another Japanese rifle?
