I found this in my grandfathers basement I really dont think it is japanese but it is some sort of practice round been seaching over net have not found anything that fits to a T 11inch long 3inch wide is it some sort of 81mm US practice mortar

yep that is what it must be look like they would make a good weight for downriggers
