Looks like a Kokura type 97 sniper, the rarer of the type 97's . Did you happen to get the serial # for our resident sniper guru the most honorable Vic A Soto. He can tell you if there is a matching scope out there for that gun and everything you wanted to know about it. Did you buy it?

NMCB62, I do not remember the entire serial number, but I do know it started with a 4xxx. No, I didn't buy it, it was being viewed strictly for identification purposes. It might be for sale but I haven't been told for certain if it is on the market. A matching scope would be a great find!
