I can't read the stock cartouche very well, but it looks like one Gardone applied when the moschetto was made in 1936. The straight handle bolt was added at some point - a bent one is correct. If you'd like I have a spare complete bent bolt I'd trade straight across. Rocca was the maker of the bolt - commonly seen.

The desirable feature for me is the "slider" bayonet catch. The majority of those were replaced as it's not an overly sturdy assembly. You certainly don't want your bayonet folding up right in the middle of close combat!

Gardone only made the M91 cavalry moschetto for 3 years... to the tune of a little over 150,000 made. SW
