I could use some input. I have a Model '94 25-35 (1906, I think). I have ordered some ammunition without reading fine print and received the L&B 6,5 x 52R. I have read several forums but just haven't gotten the straight answer i am looking (or hoping) to find. Is this 6,5x52R a safe equivalent to the Winchester 25-35 ammo?

That is ...

the European designation for the .25-35 Winchester cartridge, which was once popular in Germany for use in drillings and other types of break-open hunting arms, but it is confusing, since the majority of nominal 6.5mm cartridges are for bullets of ca. .264" diameter, versus the .257" which is correct for the .25-35WCF.
It should be safe in your 1894, but I'd be cautious, and measure the bullet ahead of the case mouth (it shouldn't be larger than .257" at that point), and watch for signs of high pressure or excess headspace in your Winchester.
